Laughing Chefs Venue is everything that you want for your special day – beautiful surroundings, friendly helpful staff, excellent food and a special start to your new life together. This gem is hidden from the busy Soutpansberg Road – at first you won’t believe that there is anything other than a parking lot behind the gates. Then you enter into a fairy garden, complete with a running stream, 4 waterfalls and a large koi pond. The ceremony can take place in the open Music room, under the stars in front of the waterfall or on our deck. Your reception will be intimate and expertly done to suit your needs. For the colder months you can dine and dance inside, with the fire places blazing. In the summer months we open all the doors, and the party flows outside.
We will ensure that your special day is exactly that, special.

Our beautiful venue is the perfect place to host any special occasion or celebration. Birthdays, engagements, christenings, anniversaries, award ceremonies, you name it, we can do it.

The restaurant can comfortably seat 80 guests, although we can go up to 120 guests should the need arise. Our minimum guest count for functions is 30, but we are so flexible that any group can be accommodated! The only requirement – the whole group needs to select the same set menu.

We have 3 separate venue rooms, as well as an outdoor seating area. In the summer, we open the doors to invite the garden inside, and in winter we light the fireplaces to keep everybody cosy. Whatever your requirements – plated, platters, 1 course, 2 courses, 3 courses or multiple courses – we tailor make any menu to suit your taste and needs. Have a small budget? We will work within the budget. Have a large budget? Don’t worry, we will see it as a guideline, not a target :-)

We do not charge a venue fee unless you want the sole use of the restaurant/venue for the duration of your function.
